The Tabernacle Alcoves are a series of prayer pockets that line a long concrete planter wall. Modeled after the tabernacle of Moses as a picture, or pattern, of prayer, this site is an interactive teaching instrument designed to guide those who come here into an ever deepening encounter with God through prayer. It is suggested that a minimum of one hour be devoted to this area...or an entire afternoon. Prayer guides are placed at the Alcoves entry. Carefully read and familiarize yourself with the process in order to secure the greatest spiritual benefit. This is a site that can - and should - be revisited many times in order to increasingly experience the depth of communion possible in this kind of prayer.
