Perhaps the most serene and reflective site in the garden, scripture is carved into various stones here refering to the Christ as the Rock and the living water that satisfies our deepest thirst. Though it is introductory to the Tabernacle Alcoves, it stands alone as a site for personal focus and reflection. Tucked beneath overhanging limbs and flanked by a bed of azaleas, it carries a sense of privacy and invites lingering amid the sounds of water bubbling up and flowing over the edge of a rock.
