The "Dayspring from on high has visited us to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death...to guide our feet in the way of peace." Luke 1:78-79.
The Path of Peace winds its way past areas for those who sit in the darkness of abuse and loss and in the shadow of death of loved ones. It ends at the sitting area on the back side of the Garden of the Unborn. Wooden signs inscribed with scripture flank the path all along the way with words that point to the peace and freedom offered by Christ. The many scripture references attending all the prayer pockets along this path and in the Tabernacle Alcoves are meant for reflection, for absorbing their meaning into the deep issues of the heart. They are intended as points for inner change....points of deeper faith about the reality of Christ and His possibilities in the midst of personal crises and chaos. They are intended for reflection on the possibility of belief that these words really are true for every seeking pilgrim.
